This scenario would put the 49ers only one game out of first place while currently holding a 4-1 divisional record. This would be considerably favorable for the 49ers.
Seeding Improvement
Currently sitting in the seventh seed, the 49ers could move as far up as the fifth seed by the time Monday Night’s match-up against the Panthers comes to an end. How so, you ask?
