The 5 Best Player Prop Bets for Titans vs 49ers
A Scrappy Underdog Comes to Town
Week 13 was a hit or miss affair in which we went 3-2 while eating the wrong side of the Christian McCaffrey receptions hook. Post bye, we’ll look to improve in what has become an interesting game vs the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee started the year off on a historically bad pace both on the field and in the sports books. They found new life after the firing of then head coach Brian Callahan. Coming off a tooth and nail win against Cleveland which saw 60 combined points, they’re hot and poised to give the 49ers all they can handle in Santa Clara.
This feels like a sneaky offensive showdown brewing and I cannot wait. Here are your week 15 bets (All bets via DraftKings, unless otherwise stated).
Season Record: 28-17-1
Tyjae Spears O 3.5 Receptions(-101)
Over their last three games the 49ers have allowed eleven, eight and six receptions to running backs as they have gotten out to leads and forced offenses to be more one dimensional. His backfield mate, Tony Pollard, is a more traditional two down back and typically gets pulled when trailing.
Spears only averages 3.3 receptions per game this season, and tends to cluster them together. Still, this projects out to be one where they will utilize his passing catching plenty. A path to five to six targets is easy to see for the third down back. Hopefully he can convert at least four of them for us.
Ricky Pearsall O 33.5 Receiving Yards(-109)
Speaking of passing production… Slick Rick has been lackluster as of late, to say the least. In his three games post PCL injury he totalled 22 yards on 10 opportunities. As such, betting on him to clear that total by over 50% this week might feel a bit risky, and it is. That’s why we’re getting almost even money on a paltry 33.5 yard O/U.
This is just such a nice, cushy get right spot for Kyle and the passing game. It was announced today Brandon Aiyuk will not be coming back for the season. If this team is to make any sort of a playoff run, it requires the Ricky from the first three games of 2025.
My feeling is that it begins this week and we see some designed short yardage work for the second year wideout. Tennessee has a penchant for allowing chunk receiving plays to boot. Be brave, take a deep breath, and roll the dice with the unheralded asset in week 15.
Brian Robinson Jr. O 29.5 Rushing Yards via Fanduel (-114)
I very much prefer to use DK Sportsbook as they insure for injury. However with the CMC news they pulled down both he and Robinson’s prop lines. So we’ll head over to FD for this one, and I love it.
The playoffs are looming, Christian is banged up, and this game has a near two touchdown spread. It would be an odd spot for CMC to see 25+ touches. There are a handful of factors here that just scream Robinson Jr. usage. He’s surpassed this figure in three of his last five, and the two he did not he still averaged 25 yards per. I wouldn’t recommend giving Fanduel your business unless I felt strongly about it. Get those B-Rob tickets in!
If you’re feeling cheeky, pair it with the Ricky receiving prop for the gunshot survival parlay. Please, if anyone does that, post the ticket and tag me (@Yanni_TGFSports), it will make my week.
Eddie Pineiro O 1.5 FGs Made (-131)
Ohhhhh man my favorite bets ever, it’s a kicker prop week ladies and gentlemen!! Fan favorite Eddie Pineiro is off the injury report and back on the sticks of the 49ers kicking game where he returns to a prime opportunity.
This Titans defense is soft, allowing over 350 yards per game. The only real risk here is too many touchdowns scored from the offense. We’re gonna bet that with this many projected redzone visits, Pineiro will get out there and do his thing at least twice. For the more aggressive bettors amongst us, 3+ (meaning he makes three) pays out +230 on DK and I don’t hate that value at all either.
Good luck this week everyone, hopefully we can finish strong with the squad as they pursue the division title. Whether it’s a scrap or a blowout, Sunday should be a fun one.
